FAQ
What's in the box?
Four parts: the front panel (fingerprint sensor, keypad, USB port), the back panel with the thumb-turn and battery compartment, the stainless-steel mortise lock body, and two mechanical emergency keys. (Manual p.1, video 00:07)
How do I add a fingerprint?
Touch the keypad so it lights up, enter admin mode, then place the finger on the sensor five times. The first person to enrol becomes the Admin, and the lock stores up to 100 fingerprints. (Manual p.4, video 00:31)
How long can my password be?
6 to 15 digits, set from the admin menu. With the anti-theft password you can add random digits before and after your real code — the lock still opens as long as your real code appears in the sequence. (Manual p.5, video 00:43)
What can the OzoLife app do?
Pair over Bluetooth to unlock from your phone, add family members with their own prints and codes, issue one-time or timed guest passwords, and see live battery level plus every entry in the audit trail. (Manual p.6, video 00:57)
The batteries are flat — am I locked out?
No. Hold a power bank against the USB port on the front panel to power the lock instantly and unlock as normal, or use a mechanical emergency key in the cylinder below the handle. (Manual p.8, video 01:21)
